We are all different in how we see the world. Our perceptions and ideas do not often agree with that of the other. It is never an easy task to understand something that is outside of us. Mutuality, then, is a feat earned by parties who communicate not only with the mind but also with the heart. Effective communication results from a deep willingness to cooperate, a willingness to step into another man’s shoes, a willingness not only to ask for but also to give a hand.
