You don’t need rush into things. Everything takes time. Waiting sucks, I know, but waiting teaches you what might be the greatest value of all: patience. Patience, in turn, instills in you the endurance to face all things, the tolerance to all kinds of pain, the courage to look for the right moment and the serenity that calms the heart. Patience is the only time that you own. It is the only thing you could cradle and nurture. Patience is waiting but not passively waiting. Patience is the strength that keeps you going even when the going gets tough. Just like an old photographer who painstakingly waits for his film to develop, you must wait for the exact time, no matter how long, to see something beautiful. Remember, there are only good things to those who wait.

Day 8: Patience
